I am 3B as well. I was on combination therapy before surgery. My melanoma was discovered not by a skin lesion but by an enlarged lymph node. They never found a primary melanoma site on my skin. The pathology of the removed lymph nodes showed all of the cancer was gone and only scar tissue remained! After surgery my first set of scans were NED. I did end up with adrenal insufficiency and hypothyroidism from the combination therapy. But I’ll take that as opposed to stage III cancer. I am currently on monthly infusions of Opdivo. With the exception of short breaks for mild side effects from the Opdivo I am getting on with my life. You will be able to do this too.
Prayers and best wishes for you. -

I had wicked headaches after combo, but I had YERVOY and an investigational drug instead of OPDIVO. I’m on OPDIVO now. Ask them if they are watching her cortisol. I seem to recall my headaches were worse at night. I too had pituitary damage that gave me secondary adrenal insufficiency. -

Damn. Sorry to hear this update, but I know you are staying strong. I’m praying and sending hugs. The goof ball cures people throw at us are frustrating. I was captive while the guy cutting my hair was telling me all the ways banana peels can be ingested and cure cancer. Read it on the internet so it must be true.
People are idiots sometimes. Well intentioned, but idiotic. Do they really feel a $&@@&$ banana peel is going to cure all cancers.
I wish you all the best and hope your CBD and THC help with the anxiety.

Hello. Sorry to hear about the increase in size. As far as what to do next, it all depends on where else it is, what was done up until now. Are you going to one of the major research centers like MD Anderson or Sloan-Kettering? If you’re not that would be my next move if it were me. -

From what I understand the research indicates a correlation between gut biome diversity and response to immunotherapy. There is no cause and effect reason as far as I know. The correlation could be entirely secondary to another trait. There is no research I am aware of that shows increasing or decreasing the diversity by artificial means has an impact on immunotherapy outcome. I would do what would support a diverse gut biome. This would mean fermented foods, fiber and maybe cultured foods like yogurt.

I’m sorry the news isn’t better for you.I experienced the stretching when my cortisol was so low it resulted in dangerously low sodium. Talk to them about the hydrocortisone if you have to do this again. Low cortisol is nothing to mess with. It has so many metabolic impacts.

There’s a difference between apparent correlation and cause and effect. 20 some years ago when I was a new Mom there were articles about a study that the use of night lights in a baby’s room increased the risk of nearsightedness. There was a correlation but it wasn’t cause and effects. When Scrutinized it was found that the stronger correlation was the use of nightlights in a baby’s room by near sighted parents. When they removed the nearsighted parents from the data , there was no correlation to nightlight use. What else increased in the timeframe of sunscreen use? Tanning beds come to mind. There’s a known correlation of tanning beds to melanoma. Also, the ‘tan is beautiful’ is a relatively modern trend.
The CDC study and the JAMA article both stated that more study was needed to determine if the levels measured were harmful or carcinogenic. The makers of that video either didn’t read these resources or just extracted what worked for them. That’s lousy science.
I’ve already responded to you about the vitamin D hype.
Perhaps you should read more articles on scientific method and statistics.

Of corse it’s not true. Doctors, nurses, scientists and pharmaceutical employees have loved ones who get cancer. So they don’t save them so they can perpetuate the big money making ‘scam’. Sorry spouse, sorry young son or daughter, Mom, dad, I can’t make money if I expose the scam to save you. Rrrriiiiggghhttt. If some one had a natural cure for cancer venture capital would beat down the door to provide ways to get the clinical trials and patents done to market it. It would be a huge money maker.. Don’t think because it’s ‘natural’ it can’t be patented.
Im so tired of people foolishly believing the ‘truth exposers ‘ and supplement industry aren’t making money off of the innuendo and outright lies.
