Yep!  I use to come and read this forum almost everyday when I first discovered it about 6 months or so after my diagnosis. (And posted/responded occasionally too)  I was so glad I found this community! But when they switched to this new format… I found it confusing and not user friendly. I really hate the spam and how older posts make it to the top.  I thought maybe it was just me (I don’t like change lol). I don’t come here and read or respond as much I use to or would like to. Now let me see if I can post this reply correctly….

I had 12, but to me 13 would make it a full year. I’m thinking I should have questioned it and asked for a 13th infusion but I’m not sure if it would make that big of a difference either way.

Oh my! I hope your Covid symptoms are mild and manageable. Thank you for sharing your story with us and giving updates. Praying the biopsy is negative for melanoma!

Thank you for sharing your story and congrats on NED with decades more to celebrate! I was diagnosed in December of 2018 at 9 months pregnant after a mole biopsy. I had my WLE and SLND at 10 days postpartum and the results were Stage 3. It’s a very emotional time to be over the moon with a precious daughter but also dealing with melanoma diagnosis. I have a scan coming up soon so having some scanxiety but its great to read stories like yours and to hear how wonderful you are doing!

I do take pictures of my own moles and I go to the dermatologist every 3 months. I have a lot of moles and a lot of irregularly shapes moles (according my dermatologist). She suggested I have mole mapping done. They do not offer it in their office but told me about the dermatology department at a university that does do it. The first time I went was fast and just a ‘base’ set of pictures. I was given a fancy flash drive of the pictures. They said I could go every 6 months or 12 months. So the next time I go they said the process will take longer because the computer will compare the moles in the pictures and then a dermatologist will review all the computer findings and then they will provide a report/type up of any changes and that will be send to me to follow up with my primary dermatologist as to whether or not a mole need to be biopsied.

Body scan is not needed at this time? I am going to ask him about it at my next visit, and maybe request a whole body scan.

Thank you for the information! I was hoping the increase in my numbers was due to something else that I could control. I’m hoping they are better in two weeks too!
