Thank you, Stevek. I’m also in the extensive vitiligo club and agree that not much seems to be known about immunotherapy beyond “We see cancer patients with peripheral neuropathy.” Thank you for the walking tip. When the time is right, I dread/look forward to going a year between scans. -

Thank you, Steve, for your reply. Hooray for NED and sorry to learn of the diabetes. You say you’ve never had glucose problems; have your glucose levels registered as normal throughout? Mine have, which has made me think it’s not diabetes. GP has ordered A1C test. Could you please tell me how exercise helps–what kind, how much works for you? Thanks! -

Congratulations, Jenn, O fellow San Franciscan! I’m glad to know you’re still NED and also vaccinated. Like Judi, I welcome NED sightings–very encouraging. Had my 3-month scans today and am in that delightful overnight period of waiting for results. Not thinking about it. Not at all. Nope, not me. What scans? Sigh. Sending all best wishes. -

I had gamma knife for a brain met. I think my fatigue afterward might have been from the Ativan. No other side effects to my knowledge. Every patient is different, of course. For example, the medication that made Judi “crazy” brought me significant relief. Good wishes to you and your dad. -

Thank you, JudiAU. I’m hoping that if I have the craniotomy, the radiation will be a simple follow-up. The surgeon said the radiation coming from the outside was less risky than implanting “seeds” during the surgery.Yes, they do have a menacing sound to them, though I initially liked the idea of avoiding one more separate procedure.
