        Dear Linda,

I'm so sorry your back in the fight again, that really sucks. The lump under my left arm is set for surgery Aug. 31 along with 2 new lesion's on my back right next to ther #4 rib that was cut in half. I've been having this crushing pain going on around my left rib and I hope this isn't related.. The pain is getting bad thank goodness for pain pills. love, Sharon in Reno Stage IV

            Hello,

2 days ago I ordered Showtime special just so I could watch this. I've always liked Laura as an actress and I love a good sense of humor so we shall see how they mix this up. I wasn't happy with how they handled melanoma on Grey's Anatomy. I am  looking forward to watching tonight. love to all, Sharon in Renosmiley

This is  always a hard choice to make…which treatment to do & when to do it. My docotor always tells me "brain first, then body". I am 53 and have been in full ballte gear for over a yr now. Just found out I had a brain tumor on June 21 and by July 01 I was having brain surgery, then 2 wks later did 3 saps of the Cyberknife/SRS, then weened off of  steroids. Now onto the body. I had a lump under letft arm, then last wk's CT scan found 2 small lesions on left side of back kinda close to other lump by #4 half of rib (that I lost in lung surgery)…so…surgery set for Aug.31….so far scar count is at 27…

Again, IL-2 is rough but she can do it,. I always like the surgery first then go from there, cut those suckers out. She can do it!!!, Love, Sharon in Reno Stage IV

It's funny how docor's forget to tell us little details… like the part where they put screws in my head for brain surgery and the next day my doctor just smiled when I was rubbing my wounds asking "why does my head hurt up here?

Sending prayers for you speedy recovery. Keep up the fight. love, Sharon in Reno, Stage IV

                        Hi Sue,

You don't have to be broke, you just have to have cancer (sucks)….so  if you keep paying for all these services your own self then you'll soon be broke. Dont let that happen check out all cancer groups this is what they do, let them pay for everything, they are great, then save you money for fun stuff.  Give 'em a call, they'll been waiting for ya. love, Sharon in Reno Stage IV……then have ya some fun!!

Back pain must be going around. I think if I have any kinda pain it goes there first cuz it's my weakest link (bad back yrs ago) and yes your CT scan will pick up any mets…thats what they are for. And if you figure out how not be be stressed don't tell anyone…bottle it and make your fortune off of it….try to hang in there, you are not alone. Love, Sharon in Reno Stage IVcheeky

Back in 2006, I remember driving around and around the parking lot thinking, "I'll never been the same again" and this was just for a WLE/SBNblush…my first set of scars…scar count now is 27 and counting, having another surgery on Aug 31 and it wont surprise me if my surgeon goes for a mastectomy,  he is very aggressive, he hasn't said so yet but we still have a week to go.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you on Thursday…lots of love & hugs for you and for a quick recovery too. love, Sharon in Reno Stage IV

I also took Angel Flight for free. I also got my Hotel rooms for free, even a fancy smacy Japanese room at $450.00 a night. Check with either your MDA's social worker or your doctor'soffice lesion/ social worker person, keep calling around till you find them, no need to pay for things,  we have enough to think about. Good Luck & God Bless. love, Sharon in Reno Stage IVsmiley

                                    Janet,

I'm so sorry those suckers are growing again. I'm putting them on my "sap them back to hell" prayer list. Please stock up on pain meds. I know you don't want to get hooked on them but trust me…,bite the bullet on this one. About 3-4 days after your white blood cell booster shot your bones are gonna start screaming (I know everyone's different so this might not happen, fingers crossed). My pain seems to go where my weakest link is, like my lower back always gives me problems and that's excatly where my pain wants to go to first. I surrendered to pain meds a month ago and 'em so glad I did. Eat well, rest, get some funny moives, take pain meds, you'll be fine, you can do this…fight….love, Sharon in Reno Stage IV
