Hope all goes well and that you get the best outcome. I have stage 4 malignant melanoma (nodular) and in Keytruda treatments now. Getting my next pet/ct next week to see if there are any urgent isues. As well, I had a full body review done by dermatologist and now having basel cell carcinoma superficial removed. Found 10 areas, all being removed in office except two, for which I had mohs surgery.  I’ll be seeing the dermatologist every three months probably for the next five years. Hoping I’m healed up and ready to return of physical activities soon!

I have stage IIIC Malignant melanoma and after surgeries, now in my 6th cycle with Keytruda. Both my surgical and oncological doctors have advised me to be innoculated for COVID19. Enthusiastically awaiting my chance to do so.

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I’ve just started my fight against malignant melanoma with Wide Excision surgery on my scalp and reconstruction, and Keytruda for a year starting this week, along with the scans, and I’m adjusting my thought process to understand it will be a life-long one. Feeling positive.

That is awesome! It encourages me, as I am on cycle 4 of Keytruda for nodular melanoma on scalp IIIc3. So far no lymph node involvement, and healing well from wide excision, reconstruction and skin graft surgery. Thankful for this treatment.

Yes, similar schedule for me. Although at this point Doc says lets try without the port. He said it was a problem for some of his patients who are swimmers. He’s encouraging me to be active, once I get this hole on my head to heal up LOL. Be well.

The oncologist advised it was the combination of the tumor depth and the micros.
