Hi Dan. I have lost my password 5 times. The passwords are too hard. You would think this was a big money fund or something. Top security. Ridiculous. I won't remember the new password I just created either. Too hard. But I wanted to say hi.
This will be my last post until something inspires me to post again.
Have you talk to my lady Gia? I have not for a long time. I never see her here.
Going to Camden, Rockland this weekend. Should be shit weather as always, but I need to get out of here for a while.
Where was that town, your ancestors, remember? South of here, as I recall.
Everything ok? I don't know where that shithead Yawn is or Bill either.
Love, Jocelyn.

To my knowledge, the only doctor in Maine who deals extensively with melanoma patients is Dr. Fred Aronson of the Maine Cancer Center in Scarborough. Although very knowledgeable in melanoma, he is not a "melanoma specialist" perse, because the MCC doesn't have the resources to be a melanoma center. In fact, Maine has no melanoma center. Many people in southern Maine begin with Dr. Aronson, and then go on to one of the Boston centers for additional opinion, follow-up, or advanced treatment. Hopefully your brother will never need advanced treatment, but if he ever did, he would have to go to Boston or another melanoma center. The only stage 4 treatments done at MCC are biochem, DTIC, and a variety of brain metastases treatment. No trials.
My brother saw both Dr Aronson and Dr Atkins of Beth Israel from the beginnings of his diagnosis 6 1/2 years ago. When he remained NED for 5 of those years, he did almost all of his follow-up with Dr Aronson. They developed a good relationship, and although my brother has to go to Boston now for the advanced treatments, he continues to see Dr Aronson often. This has been very helpful to him, to have someone close-by .
For your brother, the up-side of going to Scarborough is that it is only a few miles from Portland,.The down-side is that the Maine Cancer Center isn't a melanoma center, although the people there are in contact with Boston specialists.

Hi, Cyn. I am ok you? I have been watching a lot of football. Was secretly happy to see the Patriots lose, but can't let anyone know. My nephew is a big Pats fan but lives in NY, so we walks on eggshells cheering them on.
Maybe someone will alert FH; I don't think he comes here anymore. Maybe they think it is obvious why they deleted it, but hardly obvious to me. I have visited the site, but I didn't sign in or post. Unlike the brave Fudd, I AM afraid to participate in a blog when I have no idea where it came from. Wish whoever created it would come out of the closet!
