              I have been getting ones and haven't even requested them.  Is that because I am special?

                  You may have the option to get all posts in the Off-Topic or Bulletin Board.  Look at the side of the posts.  If these are checked, you can uncheck them to stop receiving emails.

                      Yes, I have used it this week for alert by topic, and it is working for that.
