Hi friends,
Have not been worrying about SRS on Jake's 6mm brain tumor because after 30 months of this stuff I know better. Worrying doesn't change a thing!! In fact Jake was just in my room. Him and his brother just got back from the gym and they are eating crazy amounts of breakfast at bed time!! He looks so good! He is really cheerful.
Hoping this radiation is as easy as they say and that he doesn't have too much down time. He has had TAF, Pembro and ipi in the last 18 months. Hoping this combo is somehow the magic that lets Jake go start his life!
Hoping tomorrow is okay!
Prayers to all,
kerri

Best wishes for Jake (and the family!) on SRS today! If he was at the gym… he's going to be good to go really quickly. : ) He'll cruise through. #toughkid

Kerri – Jake will fly through this procedure! My husband has had 4 gamma knife treatments and the recovery time is minimal. Best of luck!

Just got home. Happy as can be. He is just going to rest and I am going to spoil him a little:) Hoping it zapped that tumor and he will walk off the SRS:) Thanks all for the cheering him on. It helped me not worry to hear your experiences and thanks for the prayers.
Hoping to hear from Josh again soon.

My prayers are with you, I just popped in to see how all are doing – I still think of you all and pray for release from this horrible train ride of treatments and everyone lives to be old and gray. Good luck to Jake and to you Kerri – you are amazing.
