My sweet husband, Cal, a former Navy and airline pilot, is now flying in Heaven. I thank all of you for the information and inspiration that we have received over the last 10 months of this grueling journey. I wish all of you hope, love and healing.

Oh Jule I was so afraid of that when you had not responded to my e-mail. I can't even begin to tell you how I am feeling right now especially knowing the pain your going through. I can say it has been a great blessing exchanging e-mails and leaning on each other for support through this Ipi trial. My prayer is that God will give you grace to get through this. I know I will be wearing your shoes at some point and time. We just don't know when. Please take care and continue to e-mail me from time to time.

Jule,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You're right, he's in heaven. My first wife has been in heaven for 18 years, from a car crash. She was 37 and our kids were 4 and 2 at the time. I remember I think you live in Ft. Myers. My wife and I live in LaBelle. We're in Ft. Myers alot since there's not much you can buy in LaBelle. We'd love to take you out to eat. My email is [email protected]
I'll pray for strength, guidance and His peace for you during this time.
God Bless,
Jim M.

Jule,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband is also a former Navy pilot and airline pilot. The doctor told us that this disease strikes pilots frequently and we've know quite a few who have lost their battle with Melanoma- I'm so sorry that Cal was taken by this horrible disease. Your loss is devastating and I wish you peace and comfort at this time.

Dear Julie, I am so sorry to hear of Cal's passing. I know you will be comforted knowing you had such a big part helping Cal fight this miserable beast. I lost my dear Ron to the beast almost 10 years ago, and the pain comes back everytime I see another strong ,productive person has become a victim. Please feel free to make contact in the future. The next while will be difficult, and then you will have to start building a new and different life, take good care of yourself..and never feel guilty or selfish doing it. Love to you…Joan
