Hi Josh! My husband is in kinda the exact same situation. He has been stage 4 since February and is very aware of everything out of the ordinary. I insisted he call his doctor & he is there right now! Err on the side of caution.I wish you all the best and want to thank you for your service in the corps. My brother in law will retire from the corps this May.
I hope it is just your pillow hurting you. That is an easy fix! Good luck.

Hi Kath
Sorry to welcome you to this forum, but be glad you found it! My husband started his journey with a mole on his arm that was overlooked by many doctors as 'nothing', but he was insistent as was another nurse. Like your husband, mine does not do being sick or laid up well. I can tell you that just a little over a month ago my husband had his 3rd surgery from this frustrating disease. Although he has advanced to stage 4, I'm convinced that because he doesn't like to sit still has helped him through all of this. Yes he has gotten frustrated with not being able to do the things that he wants, but he is 6 weeks out from having his last surgery and is back at the gym. Being healthy is very important, and I won't lie and say I'm not worried about him, but I was told by nurse friends that it is good to let him get back to as normal as possible when he feels ready. It sounds like medically you are in good hands. I hope that the surgery goes well and the margins are clear and lymph nodes as well. Good luck and keep us informed.

Michele,
I was so deeply saddened when I saw this post this morning. I have been praying so much for everyone with this tricky disease to have strength. As my son has said on many occasions, 'Sometimes God doesn't answer our prayers the way we want, but the way He feels is best'. My prayers are now with you for peace that God can offer.

Thanks for the update Carole. I hadn't heard about how quickly she has taken a turn for the worse. Poor little thing, my heart absolutely is breaking right now! Knowing that Kevin is fighting this moster and having an 11 year old, I couldn't imagine my 11 year old dealing with what my adult husband is dealing with. I hope God takes upon himself to take care of her!
I did get your message, and am going to look into the programs you suggested. Thank you so much!
