Bio

My husband was originally diagnosed on Valentine’s Day 2011. I am a stay home mommy to 3 boys ages as of 1/2014 are 4, 11 & 12. Being a mom has what I have always wanted to do, but melanoma has put a wrench in my pretty outlook of life. I have a ‘worst case scenario’ plan in the back of my head which I call my safety net. I hope to never use it. Trapeeze artists don’t fly w/o them, but scarcely use them, so I hope with technology and advancements in melanoma treatments, I strive to never use mine either. I hope to live an extremely long and productive life with my husband. We have been together since college, and despite the almost 20 years together, it doesn’t seem long enough to me. I refuse to let cancer split us apart, or take him away from his boys.
