I had 4 injections around my original primary. It seemed each one got a little worse, but it only lasted a few seconds.

      Kristen,
I had a WLE on my shoulder and SLNB done at the same time. I had it done on a Thursday and was back at work on Monday.

I camp in a small living quarters horse trailer with my 115 lb. dog. She allows me step around her to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night….lol

I started taking prednisone, 10 mg. per day, after about 6 months on the combo for fatigue and bad joint and bone pain. It helped tremendously. My doctor said it wasn’t enough strength to affect the potency of the cancer drugs. I have been NED for about 2.5 years.

There is a lot of info. you are leaving out. What phase are you? What has your doctor recommended? If you have metastatic tumors, they are not going away. There are so many good treatments out there these days.

So, so happy for you Mike. I had a CAT scan and oncology appointment this morning, but got on here as fast as I could just to see how your appointment went. HOPE!

I know it’s different for everybody, but I experienced significant side effects for about 10 months after completing the treatment.

I went through the same thing about 8 months after completing Opdivo. It lasted about 6 or 7 weeks and then I was fine. I’ve had a colonoscopy since then and everything was fine.

Amen Melanie. You can’t depend on other people for your happiness. You have to find that within yourself.
