I am so sorry for your loss as one wife of a melanoma warrior to another. My heart aches for what your family is going through as many others face today.

        Peace and light.

                    Linda,
There is a silver cord that keeps me attached to this group, I come back to read updates but this was not one I expected. You are one of the first supporters for me in this group and that is what it’s all about here. I know melanoma sucks big time…

If I have learned anything my only advise is to not lose sight of family and loving everyday. The fight/war takes over all our time because surviving is what it’s all about but really it’s about love.

                    Write… Write… Write… Keep a journal telling all.

                    Peace to you Linda.

Jerry… Is this the same “Jim In Denver” sign in I am familiar with? He wasn’t happy with me at first but apologized and I enjoyed sparing with him as we all have different perspectives.

This has been a difficult year for all.

I am truly sadened by this news about Nic as she was one of the first people on this board who reached out to me as my husband’s caregiver. I witnessed her raw emotion and expression which affected everyone here as I read their by their responses to her.
Peace and light to her family and especially to her daughter, whose heart now lay shattered before her.

                                  Nick,
I am very sorry about your wife and the stage she has reached. All I know today is taking one day as it comes to you and don’t look back with regret and try not to look forward in fear. Love her.

My husband lost his life on May 27th after just under one year with his battle. I try to now live my life as he lived during this past year, the best way I can and remembering his bravery always. It’s the only way I can continue.

As a caregiver we are never ready to give up… but in reality we must face our families because they depend on us for guidance. Be strong, your wife will guide you.
