    Things continue to look good.

    I received news last Thursday that the Immigration Service agreed to fast track a request to expedite the processing of my fiance visa application so she can travel here and we can marry.  It has been emotionally trying to be separated during this recent battle. Yesterday I received news that the request has been granted! She should have the visa soon and can finally fly up here. Woohoo!!!!!

    Today I met back with Dr. Hamilton who said my brain scans are stable! Double woohoo!!!!!

    So we will consent the trial on Monday. I can go home for a few days and then return to LA the following Monday to begin treatment. This trial excludes more than one prior chemotherapy,  but I am at just 1 with the TIL. It requires progression on a CTL4-A or PD-1 blockade which I certainly quality for. Some patients experience neutropenia, but not as severe as that induced by TIL. Results are usually seen by the fifth week, so none of this endless waiting and wondering if it's working.

    Needless to say I feel pretty damn positive right now.

        That's great Paul, when I read this and saw that things, bureaucratically speaking, are working out for you and your fiancee as well, the Huey Lewis song, "That's the power of love" ran through my head!  Hoping for nothing but the absolute best results from the trial!
