      We just returned from UCSF where my husband received the results from his first post treatment PET scan.  After 8 weeks of taking the trial drugs, my husband's tumors have shrunk 62%.  We were both stunned and thrilled, as was the doctor.  The tumor in his lung was gone completely.

      For today, life is good.

                  That is absolutely wonderful news! I am so happy for you both!

                  My husband and I are currently waiting on results of the BRAF testing to see if he will qualify for that trial. It's great to hear encouraging news from this trial. smiley

                    That is absolutely wonderful news! I am so happy for you both!

                    My husband and I are currently waiting on results of the BRAF testing to see if he will qualify for that trial. It's great to hear encouraging news from this trial. smiley

                              AWESOME!!  whoop!  whoop!  My brother Gary has had the same excellent results-including the dissappearing Lung tumor!  He is on GSK/MEK/Braf in Nashville trial.  This could be it -and I couldnt be more happy for you!  This is a great way to start my day-and I am going to give my brother a call and let him know the great news! Congrats!
