I'm stage 4 metastatic Mel. I had 2 doses of Yervoy and had a rash and itching that was controlled with benadryl but developed colitis and was in the hospital for 3 days. I could not finish the other 2 doses. The doctor still said it worked. Just be sure to watch for side effects and call right away. Hope it all works out.

I could be one of the lucky ones responding to IPI:-). My Dr was sure my Mel was back in my lung. I had a biop and it showed it was not Mel! He thinks the IPI taught my body to fight the Mel cells and it was Mel but now is gone!
I go back for another CT Oct 11. If the spot has grown this is all out the window and he’s taking it out. So, more wait and see!
This is all so promising thought. -
