Hi Jerry,
The same thing happened to my husband, although it was not with his first Yervoy infusion. The infusion room nurse called the physician on call and it was decided that my husband was dehydrated. After drinking some water he was fine and he didn't have the problem with the next infusion. I made sure that he drank plenty of fluids prior to the infusion visit.
Best of luck to you.

My husband Mike was treated with Yervoy earlier this year. He received all four treatments and had no side effects other than being tired. The treatment did not interfere with his daily routine. I know there are many others on this board that were not so lucky and some even had to stop treatment after one or two doses. I believe there is no way to predict your individual response. I just wanted to let you know that it is possible you will tolerate the treatment well and you wont have any side effects.
Good luck!

My husband Mike was also misdiagnosed; treated for toe nail fungus for 6 months, but actually had melanoma under the nail of the great toe. By the time the correct diagnosis was made, the tumor had grown 11 mm deep and was ulcerated. Although at the time of surgery, the SNB was clean, he is now stage four. You can read about his history in his profile.
Good luck to you.
