      It is cyst. I have one on my neck. My dermatologist and melanoma neck doctor confirmed it, without biopsy. If you have pus inside it is not melanoma.
      It is SEBACEOUS CYST. You can go on internet and search.

      3 years after Yervoy, doing well and live normal life. I am on 6 month scan now.

      I think you have to do radiation under armpit to prevent recurrences. I had the same problem and after radiation no more recurrence under armpit.

      You need melanoma specialist, and they will recommend what to do. No scans for stage 1. The insurance is not going to pay for it.

      Needle biopsy sometimes is not accurate . I had needle biopsy of a lymph node and it was negative. When the surgeon did a surgical biopsy, removing lymph node and it was positive for melanoma.

      I was on Yervoy, took 4 injections, and stopped. The nodule became smaller, but I stillI have 3 nodules in my lungs for 3 1/2 years, and they are not changing in size. Each one is a few mm.
      It is stable, I do not know if it could be scar tissue from tumors.

      I also had a lump under my arm. Doctor did the biopsy, and it was melanoma.
      He should get the biopsy done.

      The same thing, 4 times, every 3 weeks one infusion of Yervoy 3mg per kg.
