I recently was picking at a small bump behind my ear (not on my ear ) and I noticed another on the other ear in a different location. I started picking at it before I could check it out in a mirror and I could feel a waxy oily type liquid with no blood come out. After that they just kinda flattened but slowly raise up again. (Well, at least one is. ) Still, I’d make and x out of the bumps with my nails and would still feel the same liquid come out. I have acne but I also have severe anxiety.. So is this nothing but a cyst or should I be more concerned??

Only a dermatologist can give you an answer to your question.

Go to a dermatologist and have them do a punch biopsy on it. Even the doctors can't tell until they receive the pathology report. Do not take any chances with this.

False alarm. I gived it one last pinch and pus came out. A nodular melanoma would be firm and have no pus.

It is cyst. I have one on my neck. My dermatologist and melanoma neck doctor confirmed it, without biopsy. If you have pus inside it is not melanoma.
It is SEBACEOUS CYST. You can go on internet and search.
