        I personally know stage IV people who had no side effects from IPI, but either became NED or had a long lasting regression in the disease. IPI in many cases causes side effects only after a few months of years…A good side effect signal that may appear (also in many cases only after many months of IPI) are something like a few blisters.

              interferon not only is not very effective but also causes dipression. Since many on this board are stage IV and nowadays there are effective treatments for stage 4, you may find more infomration about effective treatments for stage iv. However, Leukine might be effective for stage 2. I would suggestion that instead of waiting to progress to stage 4, maybe it is worth consulting with a top melanoma center, such as MD Anderson or Dr. Hodi in Massachusettes, or other centers specified here

                              They don't know if it mm or kidney cancer. We are coming from overseas to wherever we find the best doctor to be…We want a discussion group where we can receive recommendations from patients for laparascopic partial removal of a big tumor in the kidney
