This sounds like my story, only I'm waiting to see whether I'm 3 years NED. All my numbers (Breslow, mitotic rate, Clark level) were off the charts I did a crazy amount of research as well. I ended up going with the watch and wait approach. I wish you all the best and hope your husband remains NED! I figure that my high mitotic rate means it would probably have recurred sooner rather than later – at least that's what I tell myself. So, two years is really a milestone!!

Thank you for the reply. It’s good to hear from brave survivors, like you! My doc managed to get me scheduled for an MRI on Saturday, so I’m hoping to have answers next week. I’ve been so fortunate to have over 10 years of clean scans, that I’m really out of practice dealing with the waiting and uncertainty. I just need to stay sane for a few more days to find out what I’m dealing with.

Congratulations! I'm Stage 3A/3B, and am having my 2 1/2-year CT scan tomorrow -hoping to be 2 1/2 years NED.  It really puts life in perspective each time I have to do this.  Best of luck to you!!!!
