Thank you ladies. I am still waiting on the results. I think I should ask were your lumps near your original primary? Or around lymph nodes?

My original Melanoma was .03 mm deep/Stage 1A superficial spreading Melanoma and the doctor felt that one would not cone back as it was only a very few cells that went that low. The original biopsy actually got it all. This lump is way over on the other leg from my original. I showed it to my primary dr but he thought it was nothing but then I wonder what primaries know about Melanoma.

I just sprouted a dyplastic nevi, in a 6month period of time, that was removed in August. It was about 2mm across. Moderate so no margins taken. On my back. This new unknown if it is another Dysplastic Mole or Melanoma sprouted in 6 months and it is like 2mm max as well. The Sharpie dots were bigger. I am just thrown by this. Why are the Nevi sprouting at 52? My derm keeps saying it isn’t normal too and yet here we are.

I never have had a pet scan or any of that. I sure wish there was a faster turnatound on biopsies. Thank you for responding. I just go a little blank in the office and it isn’t helpful my husband can’t go in right now due to Covid. He keeos things on track.

Thank you for your encouragement. I am curious how long ago since your first one? And were they all “shallow?” That is so awesome that this last batch came back clear! Encouraging and had to be hopeful for you. I don’t mind being cut on and sacrificing skin. Scars of gratitude. I just mind the thought of them missing one. I did have the doctor tell me that multiples mean nothing too serious if shallow. Can you get them to biopsy more of them at one time? I have about five that the doctor “frets” and I think why mess with it? Off with them. He laughs at me, kindly with amusement, but he still says not yet.

It is infected. I got some antibiotics. I do not do well with stitches. I am wondering if I am allergic to the actual stitch material. Or just that sensitive to having my skin messed with. Ah well, a round of antibiotics will hopefully clear it up.

He does look at them, in fact he even looked at one of them the day of my margin removal. I have ended up with infection. It is alarming but I am on antibiotics. Of course on a weekend so I will call my derm’s office Monday. Just sucks ya know? I am hoping that I continue to grow more peaceful in my diligence.

Thank you. No colds or etc. However was travelling. Just wish it wasn’t itchy so I could forget it. Hopefully it will go away. I just grow things. Cysts, etc. Everything but two moles have been benign. One basal, one melanoma and now an atypical.

I started with around ten new moles that just didn’t look right. I showed previous derm, got literally mocked. She was awful. Not often that happens, most doctors are respectful even when they tell you that it is nothing to fret about. Told me new moles don’t develop, I was paranoid and was basically dismissive, etc. Well, fast forward two years and I decided enough was enough. Went to my normal physician who I knew did removals of small stuff. He just looked at them and said doesn’t look wrong, I said that one has been scabbed for several months. He asked does it annoy you. I said yes. It was melanoma. I just wish my current derm doctor who is very wonderful (Fun, caring, and professional, he is even generous with his time) would just keep removing these moles which have kept growing until some of them come back normal. Doesn’t seem to be their way however. He takes pictures. Is there value in letting them develop?

Sorry, I am acting like a bit of a geyser. I just have stopped talking to anyone but my husband and few if any others about my thoughts because most people are so uneducated about the difference between having had a Stage 1A melanoma and having MELANOMA. I don’t need people freeing my inner worrier. I just feel bad asking the same dr the same questions over and over every three months.
