                  Thank you all. Although it has greatly subsided (controlled) in the past day and a half (through 7-8 daily doses of immodium,) is is not yet gone. After reading more about immodium and lomotil being in the opiate class of drugs we realized that this side effect of radiation only reared it's ugly head when Adriana greatly reduced her opiate intake, having tapered off of 4-6mg Dilauded 6 times per day. As opiates are known to slow down the intestines, the side effect had been masked. We hope that she has turned the corner under the current treatment.

                  Now paying more attention to some pressure sores on her heals that have sneked up on us.angry

                  As always spirits remain high and she is as fiesty as ever.
