Still doing well on the GSK BRAF/MEK combo trial at MGH. Year and a half without adverse affects. Tumors are 93% gone. Getting a few wild type melanomas but they get cut out in knife fights. I took my first dose on December 28,2010. I am so grateful.

Thanks for posting this. I've been on the combo for about 7 weeks as an initial treatment after a Stage IV diagnosis in July. I've had outstanding results (and virtually no side effects), but can't help thinking about how long it will last.

Hey John! Glad to know you are well. I only have about 850 days on the combo. Looks like I'll never catch up with you. I'm going to Boston this weekend and will check out MGH – my son is going to Harvard Medical School and he hopes to be assigned to MGH as he lives in Beacon Hill.
