In Italy there was a test on NED from zelboraf trying to stop it . It have no success with illness return. Fortunatelly starting again z restart the cure effect. At least it was what my wife oncologist told us 2 years ago

surgey on jul 2013

stage IV on agust 2014 (multiple metastasis sites)

On zelboraf from august with quick stable response

Brian metastasis on jul 2015 body stable

WBR

on anti -braf+ anti-mek from october 15

At now stable (the size of all the meet are really small and both RMN for brain and TAC for body cannot assure if it are metastasis or dead cells

My wife was diagnosed of a large melanoma when pregnant (7 mounth) and immediatelly there was the surgey.

Unfortunatelly 1 year later (when stop to breastfeed- do it matters?) there was a lot of spread in bones liver lung and sthomac.

she start zelboraf and most spread disappear, but 1 year later (this summer) there was spread to brain.

She had wbr and at now brian meets are stable and next week i can tell you abot the rest of the body.

In any case she feel really well a part common z side effects.

she is now on braf+mek combo since few week, but she is a responder to zelboraf for 2 years.

Last summer despite good response in the rest of body, less then 20 little evidence appared in the brain.

they was really rapid growing.

To be honest just one was evident in TAC and no syntoms but MRN show more. And between first MRN and the one dome before to start the terapy there was a worsening

she received WBR for 20 days, i do not remeber the dose, and this had a great effect.

at 1 year she still has some evidence (it is not possible to say if it is tumor or dead cells), but most dumps desappears and all the others strinks and mantains stable.

No collateral effect eccept hair loss
