Hi! I had very similiar path report. Invasive and vertical phase is different things. My melanoma is 0.2 Breslow (so it is invasive) but radial phase only (not vertical).

I do not think it can be deeper and your immune system just attacked and cleared some of the depth . don't think it is possible.

Your lesion was completely cut out , doctor cut deeper and wide around the mole.

Sorry if my English is not very good but I hope you understand what I wanted to say.

      Good luck to you!!!

it is massive correlation betweeen pregnancy and melanoma ,some doctors STILL deny that , but some agree. I had nearly the same diagnosys ,melanoma occured during IVF tretament ,which involves ''pregnancy horomones'' injections. IVF felt. I spoke to a lot of doctors in different countries- some of them said – go ahead with another pregnancy , but some said – if you want to be alive – never get pregnant. My dessision – I am 34 ,don't have children and I will never have children . If I had one melanoma during pregnancy , it is huge risk to have another melanoma during another pregnancy.  A lot of melanoma cases happens to pregnant women , I think it is unresposible for doctors still deny that.

I just had a phone call from doctor and they said my pathology says the same as first results – RGP melanoma at worst scenario as not all features of melanoma presents .:)) Probably I will never know the exact answer .

I wish you good health and all the ebst in New Year!!

hI! It is 2 years since my diagnosys , I had my annual appointment in hospital month ago and they offerd me to meet the best melanoma specialist in UK ,so I went to that appointment with him and he said he wants to make his own opinion on my pathology so I am waiting for new pathology results after 2 years of my surgery ! As it is Xmas time it took about month and still not ready ,but Doctor said my melanoma is very thin and he is wondering is it stage 1 melanoma or just a precanserous mole ,as my first pathology did not find all signs of melanoma. I am hoping for best news possible and a bit nervous over Xmas time as my pathology is still not ready.

But so far so good. My next follow up appointment will be in April.

        How are you ?

Merry Christmas and all the best in New Year!!!!!
