      I lost my husband to Melanoma May 28, 2011.  He had a mole removed mid back Feb 2009, went stage IV March 2010.  I found a wonderful therapist who was able to help us immensely.  I would make that recommendation to you.  Reach out for help from someone who has professional training.

           My husband was a patient at NIH about this time last year.  It took us less than a week to get an appt.  We waited 2 days for his surgery after our consultation out there.  They move very quickly and efficiently.   Much more so than the private sector.  I can not say enough great things about our experiences.  It was extra ordinary care.  Good luck.

      Decison made, he would not survive Yervoy.  Hospice has been engaged and right now he's pain free and enjoying a nap at home in the sunshine with a cat on his lap.  Man this sucks………
