Sounds like side effects of treatment seem to vary little from patient to patient. So I think I know what to expect there. I will be receiving treatment in Seidman Cancer Center, so I am hopeful they are well schooled in handling whatever difficulties I encounter. I had heard a lot of good outcomes from the Zelboraf/IL-2 sequence so I am hopeful that this will be a likewise for me. Thanks for all of the feedback.

Ditto on my successful use of massage for arm and hand swelling. My therapist tells me that the lymphatic system has the capability of re-routing itself when a short cirucit caused my surgery occurs. Whether this is true or not, it works for me. Each session causes immediate improvement which lasts longer each time. My therapist has alos imparted to me a few simple techniques I can emply at home to prolong the positive effects of her efforst. I now only use compression sleeve occasionally around the house or when flying. Also when you get your compression garment, definitely go to a medical apparatus shop where they can fit you for your particualr needs. This is one area where buying off the internet is not a good idea.

Thanks, Jerry.
I am getting cardiac and pulmonary testing in 2 days plus a brain MRI to qualify me for IL-2 given in sequence with vemurafinib in a trial to see if the sequence will improve response and duration over either drug independently. I finished Ipi this paast fall with no results for me. Hoping IL-2 will do the trick.
