I had one 24mm mel  tumor treaded with Gamma Knife in 2011,it shrunk to 9mm over time, 9 month,but than started growing again,had brain surgery to remove it and Cyber Knife there after,still doing fine.

Congratulation Julie, and you will handle the radiation like you did the rest of your treatments.Julie I have a question for you regarding the joint pains on Keytruda. For how long after your Keytruda treatment did you have to struggle with the pain?

I was diagnosed 4 years ago with 5 lung tumors and 1 brain tumor,had Gamma knife and 2 brain surgeries,my last scans showed things are ok. in the brain and the 5 lung tumors are still there-the are growing very slow so my onc.tells me to watch and wait-his famous words are " I don't won't to make you sick",so as of today I am going with his advise.I would wait a bit befor a lung surgery,you also can do Cyber knfe on the lung or as recommended any of the new drugs.

Jag, nice to hear from you and the weaning off of the anti seizure madication.I am doing well after my second brain surgeries but I still have my lung tumors which seem to be stable.My oncologist at every visit says and I quote " Manfred I do not want to make you sick".This is sometimes hard to take but my wife tells me that I will die of old age and not cancer.So after almost 4 years I think my immune system is strong enough to keep the cancer under control and as long as this is the case no treatment for me according to the onc. Stay healthy,enjoy live and family.
