I lost a TON of hair on inteferon. My dr said it happens to about 20% of inteferon patients. It has grown back, with the same texture and color, but it's taken forever! For some reason, the hair around my hair line (front few inches of my head) has grown back way way slower than the rest of my head. I'm just happy it's back, although still not at the same length. I took lots of hair supplements, which I beleive really helped. and I used a really nice halo extension piece when it was bad.

Hi! I had a complete lymph node dissection in my right arm. I have muscle tightness all the time. The main thing that helps me is massage. I see a massage therapist as well as a chriropracter that specialized in muscle work and they massage out the sticky areas – where I feel tight and painful and stuck, for lack of better word. It really helps a lot. The work my chriropracter does can be pretty painful, especially graston technique to work out the scar tissue, but it really works! I'm happy to have a bit of pain if it helps over all. Hope that helps!

This is a really late reply – but just wanted to say that I'm right there with you. I was diagnosed 3A at 29 – and was engaged to my now husband. I'm actually lucky that I was diagnosed when I was and didn't try ot have babies before diagnosed, b/c who knows where I would be today. My Dr said 3 years was a good number for reduced risk of recurrance. I'm a few months away from that marker, and I know I really want to have babies. But it's def a little scary.

I just want to warn that it is different for everyone. For me there was no way I would have been able to handle 6 hours in a car 2 days after. I was in a lot of pain and every bump in a car ride sent a jolt of pain through my body. I did have some complications with mine, but that was really after the first week (got an infection). Be gentle with yourself and do what feels right when the time comes. I hope everything goes smoothly and you can take your trip!
