My husband has been unable to drive since he has had brain mets (going on a year).  Also, when your on anti-seizure meds you cannot drive as well.    I am sorry your brother has to deal with this disease – I pray he finds a treatment that works for him,  Take care.

My husband has seen Dr. Richards and currently is seeing Dr. Gajewski.  David has been Gajewski's patient for the last 2 years (Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma) with unknown primary.  Please check out http://www.skinofsteel.org – Susan Steel – she is an advocate and survivor in the Chicago area.  Also, if you email me (kristine@kooltechnologies.com) I can give you her direct contact information as she is amazing with referrals, suggestions, etc.

My husband "David" had to discontinue (he was on it before it was approved) because of progression of brain mets.  He did not have any withdrawals or anything like that – in fact the remainder of his body has stayed in remission – just can't control the brain mets as well….yet!
