look into getting a Reid Sleeve for night time (made by peninsula medical.) its been highly effetive for me and is less intrusive to sleeping than a pump.
getting it paid for by insurance was a hassle, but wrth the effort. i also take it with me on airplane rides to reduce swelling in the air.
good luck!

Mary, Eileen – Thank you.
Met with the Doctor's today and they shrugged off a CT having a negative effect. Which given online research isn't surprising. A friend whose a Doctor did confirm that an iodine alergy can definate occur over time.
Charlie – I do hope the little venting helped you in some way. At the time of posting, the "why" of the CT scans did not seem to be relevant to the question I asked nor do I see it as anything but a stated fact void of emotion. Since you asked, the frequency is tied to the protocol required by the research study I'm on (listed in my profile).

My son Truman was 14 Months when I pulled the plug and went on full leave from work and focused on treatment and looking after him. Caring for him wasn’t exceptionally hard, but I spent a large amount of time laying on the playroom floor encouraging independent play and napping with him. We have a special bond because of it.Unfortunately I couldn’t imagine a full year of interferon as a “single” parent and working. That said there are extraordinary people that rise to the occasion, and and that could easily be you.
Good luck

I'm currently doing a Phase 2 trial, and all my onc's want me exercising. Run it by your doc first.

Jamie,
I feel your pain in not knowing. I recently had a very similar scenario occur, 7mm "something" on a pet with a low uptake and nothing showing on a CT with contrast done the same week. The doctors all recommended the same – wait and see. The oncological surgen said no one in their right mind would go digging for something that small, and something that small is aweful hard to hit with a needle biopsy. As for what it might be, a whole lot more lung nodules are benign than are melanoma.
Good Luck,
Craig.
