Rita, my heart breaks for the struggle you and your husband have endured. Having shared so much on this board, I feel as tho I know you. Prayers and strength to you and your family.

Hi Dave, Well, this makes me feel better. Dr Harker Murray is my doc! She's been vigilant with my care, as I remain gratefully, stage 2B.
I'm having a spot on my forearm biopsied on Friday. It sound like we were dx'd around the same time. This Mel world is something, right? It's nice to meet a local Mel warrior, even if this is a club no one wants to join.
Please keep me informed, I'll do the same. I wish you all the good news and health you can imagine!
Warm regards,
Kathy

Thank you Jenn,
I am educating myself along the way. Appreciate your comments. I think there is a cancer center affiliated with UW-Madison, not very far from Milwaukee.

Hi all,
I had two biopsies at the end a January, and happy to report were NOT melanoma!
I continue to monitor myself, and am cautious, but hopefully not too paranoid.
thank you for your support and input. This board has certainly carried me through many scared moments since my Dx of 2 primaries in July 2015. Stage II b.
i have 2 more new spots on my arms. One near my right arm near where my incision has healed, and one on my left forearm. It's concerning, itchy, bumpy, and has a waxed appearance, about a dime size with irregular boarders. When I saw my surgeon he said he would take them off, no question. My question: should I have them biopsied first?
Thanks, Kathy

Hi Tamlin, Can you give us an update? I've also just discovered a lump/small bump in my groin. I'm Stage 2b, & had a malignant tumor removed from my right arm, no lymph involvement in July 2015. Another lesion removed from my upper back at he same time, so two primaries. Thank, kathy
