        I just saw this post and WOW. This really touched my heart and it is so nice to see that my mom affected so many people all over the world. Thanks so much to everyone here that rang a bell all over in honor of my mom. I’m sure she is sitting in heaven getting a kick out of all these people ringing bells for her. Thanks so much to everyone. I will ring a bell right now for my strong courageous mother.

              Today is a lot better. They added attavan and that is helping tremendously with helping her sleep. Thank god he is not in so much pain now.

                    Also they are having a hard time with managing her pain.  I don't know if there is something more that they can do for it.  It is Neuropathic pain from all of the tumors in her brain.  She wouldn't let anyone touch her because it hurt her so bad.  It seems like there should be something else that they can do, but it seems like there isn't.  The only thing that seems to be left to do is to let nature take its course.

                          Thank you. She does have a pain management specialist and we have been in contact with her. They are giving her the pump hydromorphone norcos and attavan. That seems to help her get some relief at times but sh still is moaning and uncomfortable at times. Her doctor will see her tomorrow and I have advised my grandma to talk with her doctor and specialist about the things that you said.

                                Thank you so much Karen. I told my mom to ask her doctor about the patches. I know that she has a melanoma specialist in San Francisco but she hasn’t seen him in a while.
