I had much the same thing happen to me after my third Yervoy treatment. Finally diagnosed with viral encephalitis. Spent a week in the hospital and am at home recuperating. The really scary part is the awareness and confusion and being able to know what's real and what's not. Good luck to your family,!

I've had ongoing seasonal allergies for years now. They can leave you absolute miserable. I gave myself high blood pressure using way too much extra strength Mucinex D. I've had two ipi/novo treatments with a third scheduled next week. In the last two years I have had incredible response using a Neti pot every morning. Now, I use Flonase when needed and a general allergy pill when juniper is high. It flushes out the sinuses with a saline packet and distilled water. It DOES take getting used to, but I love it.

I probably was a bit over the top from the beginnings, but I started off joking with the crew in the treatment suite. We have a pretty good relationship. They must see a lot as well.

I've sliced bananas and frozen them, that helps. Ice chips are okay, but don't help me that much.  What has worked best for me is really pushing the water–64 ounces plus a day.

That's what it sounds like. I will probably need to get some coverage simply because I don't know. Thanks for the info!

My wife found some organic ginger drops at the store – morning sickness candy. Between those and peppermints I successfully navigated the nausea. I feel pretty fortunate that is as bad as it got this time.

I should have qualified my original question with mild/moderate/severe. Watching the videos one thing that really stood out to me is that yervoy has a cumulative effect and that just because protocol states four doses not everyone may need four doses.

Thank you, Ed. A bit technical, but at this point the lingo is familiar.

Good news. I'm struggling with the side effects of treatment and it's encouraging to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you!

Have you had trouble getting comfortable enough to sleep?

Austin in August?  I know a little something about what that's like. Before I moved to Southern New Mexico I lived in the DFW area and was wearing long sleeves all the time.

Beyond the chills did you have intense body ache?

Thanks for the encouraging words, I appreciate that.
