        Terra,

        is your husband still on that trial?

        My husband will most likely start that trial as well in a few weeks.

        I was wondering if you already have some results?

                    Yes, he was tested for c-kit, but is negative unfortunateley.

                        Thank you so much for your replies!  The 10 months really scared me!!

                        I do understand what you are writing and what you  mean, especially Sharyn. I tend to read too much on the internet and all those statistics are indeed frightening.

                            Mu husband has several liver mets, the biggest one already 9 cm! He will start tomorrow with Ipilimumab. Because he has several liver mets no surgery or ablation can be done.

                            We hope that Ipi will help in time. It is frightening how fast liver mets grow, the big one grew 3 cm in 2 months.

                                    Thank you Lori!

                                    Could someone please let me know if that is a lot of metastases, or normal , can the liver mets removed surgically or is that not possible with the size or if there are too many already?

                                    Did Ipi work for people with liver and lung mets?

                                    I would just like to collect some more information before we have the hospital appointment in a week.
