Yes, IPI can be shrinking and stabelizing some tumors while others are growing (so confusing). This has been the case with me and almost all the immunotherapies I've been on. I think all my bone tumors did show up on a CT, but for sure the PET, so I'm not sure why they do a bone scan.
Radiation helped with my bone lesions, sometimes if you are responding to IPI and you have a couple of pesky tumors they will try and radiate them or surgically remove them.
That's exciting that he has had a respnes, hopefully there is more good news to come!!

They send out my slides to UCSF to have them unravel the DNA and determine if it was melanoma or spitz nevus. It was melanoma. If you personal message me I would give you my number if you wanted to chat about what I've heard from different doctors about the spitoid melanoma (don't feel like I can type it out right now). One of my suregons did believe they were less aggressive than other melanomas. I don't know, mine has been pretty aggressive, but it has responded to treatment. They found my mole when my kids were young and it is so very scary. Best wishes to you!

Swanee, NED is amazing!! I am so happy for you. Thank you for responding. I think getting surgically to NED is a great option. We would have done that perhaps if the surgery woulnd't leave me with one kidney.
I hope I don't need the TIL, but I definetly want to try it out if this cancer won't be stopped. It might be a bit trickier for me to quialify now-I would need a colonoscopy that shows no colitis. I just weaned off steroids last week with great results, so there is some hope for that. I really liked the doctors at SCCA, I mostly saw Dr. Lee.
Keep me updated on all your successes! I am really doing great! Started running again and everything.
Thanks!
