Karen, I was taken off of everything about 3 weeks ago.  I never achieved certain NED.  All we know is that I have something but whether it is dead scar tissue or active melanoma we are uncertain.  My trial was up on how many treatments I was to recieve so now we are in the wait and see part of the trial before we move on to the second arm, which I'm hoping we never have to do.  Hoping it is just scar tissue and never returns or becomes active.  

Hey Karen, it's your twin.  I am not sure I have read of many recovering pituitary normalcy.  I am no longer on Prednisone but I do take Hydrocortisone.  

I am not terribly vocal on these boards but I do check in regularly to read progress reports and I have also been wondering.

I too suffered from an enlarged pituitary after my 3rd dose of ipi/nivo combo.  I suffered from a mild headache for about a week that turned severe.  I was taken of treatment for a while and put on prednisone.  Over time I was weaned off and have resumed nivo treatments.  I am on hormone replacement therapy and suspect I will be for the rest of my life which is fine with me if it means I get to do it the rest of my life.  During my first scans I saw a reduction of 50% of all tumors across the board.  My second scan I remained stable (this was also during the height of my prednisone treatment which I know they say shouldnt effect treatment outcome).  I am due for 3rd scan in a couple of weeks and I have a good vibe that my results will show positive movement again.

May I ask what part of Missouri you are in.  I am in Missouri.  I initially went to Columbia but am now being served in Kansas City.  Keep vigilant and keep your chin up.

I have contracted cellulitis twice in the past month.  No cuts or trauma to the area.  I am on Nivo but am done with ipi.  Doc says I am more prone to cellulitis to to the lymph fluid that builds under my skin through out the day.  I do not have significant lymphedema so I do not use the compression stockings.
