I'm 9 days out from my second infusion of Yervoy and havn't experienced any side effects. However, within the past couple of days, I've been feeling fatigued which is quite out of character for me. I just finished moving house and thought I was tired as a result of moving, but I find myself wanting to sleep in more in the morning and get tired in the afternoon. After reading my clinical trial notes, fatigues/tiredness is an autoimmune response, so at least something is starting to happen.

On another note, my hair is VERY dry! I wish the very best for everyone in this battle.

Interesting about the dry hair. That is one thing I have noticed on my c-kit targeted therapy as well. Mine used to be on the greasy side and now it's very dry.

Lisa,
Fatigue was my main side effect, particularly by the end of work. I often was too tired to fix dinner, schlep kids to stuff, etc after work. Would come home and rest.
Prayers for an awesome ipi response!

Hi TracyLee,
Fatigue is big for me – especially around this time. In the morning, I have loads of energy and then by mid afternoon, I just want to take a nap and not do anything.
I'm so very happy for you and your BRAF response. Just when everything seemed bad, everything changed and now you are responding very well. I hope this continues for a long time.
Thanks for the prayers for the ipi response. I continue to pray and wish for all the best.

Rest is a important factor. Fatique works on our minds because we cannot do all wwe used to or all that we want/need to. Do NOT be "TO STRONG" to ask for the help you need in getting things done. Tell friends, church members,, etc of specific things that will help you get the needed things done. Some one to babysit when you need a nap, some o ne to help sometimes prepare meals. Peolpe don't know ht you need and many are afraid that you will feel they are butting in to do things. Tell others what will help.
