      Hi Cindy,

      How did the radiation go ? Or is your Mum still waiting ?

      No experience but have read about this kind of personalised medicine where the tumours DNA is tested and bench tested against a known panel of anti cancer drugs and then the patient is given the one that looks the most promising. Sounds expensive to do and unlikely to be funded by big pharma   but if I rember correctly some melanomas responded to one of the breast cancer drugs.Think it was a Her2 drug in that case from memory. Will have a browse and see if I can find details or anything else about that might be useful.
