Well tomorrow is D-day with Pet scan and Brain mri results. The great news is we have a consultation with
Moffitt Center in Tampa on Thursday so I can bring them the scans and discuss Oncologists plans with them
and they can either bless them or if clinical trial etc. is in order we can discuss that. Feeling hopeful, thanks
for encouragement and advice and now I feel like Im doing all I can. I have stacks of research, most originated
from this site, it is such a gift for melanoma patients and their families.

That's great news about your Moffitt appointment. You have obviously taught yourself a lot about melanoma in a short amount of time and I know you will be well-prepared for your consultation. Don't forget to talk to the Moffitt social worker about available assistance and resources if you have to travel to Moffitt for treatments.

Happy to see your post and that you got an appointment at Moffitt. I remeber sending Dr. Weber an email on a Sunday and we weren't even a patient of his. He called me back that same day and spoke to me for a good amount of time.
This board is such an amazing place for resources and for comfort. I hate that my family had to become a part of the world of Melanoma, but if anything nice came out of it, it's all of the kind people I met along my Mom's journey. Keeping you close to my heart and in my prayers that you get good scan reports.
Regards,
Wendy
