      Hello Warriors!

Just a quick update. Round 29 done yesterday, still tolerating it very well, all labs still in range! Coming down the home stretch with about 5 rounds left to get me to the 2 year protocol end point. Still NED, and next round of scans is in 3 weeks. I truly hope this finds all of you fighting and winning the war. I’m working on a few projects with the hope of bringing about greater awareness of clinical trials and trying to create some avenues for Veterans with melanoma to get good treatment from melanoma specialists…but more on that later. Warrior On!!

      Tex

Keep us updated on those projects for veterans. I don’t know what part of Texas you are in, but I am in the Dallas area and if there is anything I can participate in for Veterans here, I would appreciated hearing about it.

Rock on Tex! Thank you for bringing the awareness about clinical trials too! That is so huge. I was at the ACRP conference in Nashville (Clinical Research Professionals) about a month ago and we met some patients talking about how they get so much of their information from other patients and advocates through patient forums (sound familiar??? MPIP). That seemed to shock some of the industry and FDA people in the room. I think patients promoting trials in a knowledgeable way to other patients is the single most effective strategy. It’s why we are on this board, because we hear experiences and share knowledge from other patients. There is no group more vested in outcomes than the people on this board. 🙂
