Prayers for Tina D please

    Her last update was
    Dec 5th 2012 .. PET scan shows 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 cm tumor in abdomen and 2 small adjacent lymph nodes lit up. Removed from Zelboraf completely

    Tina D has been in the hospital since Christmas Eve. She completed her first Ipi infusion but had started with some tummy trouble beforehand which has escalated to high temp, white counts, terrible abdominal pains and so far lots of tests with no answers.

    I believe she is set for another scan today with contrast then possibly exploratory surgery. Please say a prayer for her so she can get home to her sweet family. She has been such a brave warrior for many many years and her family needs her!!

        Thank you for the update, Amy. I will definitely say lots of prayers for Tina. I hope her GI problems are ipi side effects and that they will be brought under control soon. Hang in there, Tina! We are all rooting for you!

        Thank you SO much, everyone. I am so sorry to have just dropped out for a while. Good news is, that tomorrow morning, afer FIFTEEN days in the hospital, I am going home tomorrow! LOOOng story short.. I had exploratory laprascopic surgery, they removed los of adhesions and I am now on the road to recovery, finally. Thanking God. Will write more later. Thanks so much for your concerns, prayers and well-wishes 🙂

LOOOng story short.. I had exploratory laprascopic surgery, they removed los of adhesions and I am now on the road to recovery, finally. Thanking God. Will write more later.         Tina D !!!!!!  – SOOO good to hear from you, Girl AND that you are back on the road to RECOVERY and NED !   I know that had to be a very hard Holday and long stay in the hospital, but worth it to get you back on track and moving forward. 

        Wayne and I kept you in our prayers and will continue to do so. 

        GOD BLESS YOU GIRL – what a TROOPER !     Looking forward to GOOD REPORTS on ZEL now. 

        So happy you are back.    I had my surgery (knee) – NOT FUN – on the 27th.  Will be a long, slow recovery.   You can not be an OLD WOMAN 🙂 and be a sissy !  🙂   

        Wayne and I leave for MDA next Wednesday – the 16th for the REALLY BIG SHOW we call it (as Ed Sullivan said).   The Sedated MRI – PET – ETC., so another big month for us.  

        We are TRUSTING GOD WITH IT.   And thanking HIM for WHEELCHAIRS for me !   Patient pushing the WELL ???? PERSON – LOLOL – we are a pair !    Glad we have such a good sense of humor.   It has been needed.  🙂 

        Keep on keeping on girl, and KEEP THE FAITH for HE IS ABLE !
