Dearest Father in Heaven, mightiest of might, though we do not understand the tests and life we must get through, we pray you give Jill and her family all the love and grace and understanding to get through this tragic time.  I am so pleased that although Eric is a wonderful man and love of her life, that he may now relax, be in peace in your arms and hurt no longer,  God bless you Eric, thank you for your lessons in bravery, humility and hope, faith and love………….God got a great one today, we are sad but the Lord rejoices……Amen.

Lord, in Your undying mercy, as You have embraced Eric and welcomed into eternity, that place You prepared for him, please continue to embrace Jill as she continues her days here. Eric beholds You face-to-face now, Jill needs You to open doors for her future here and pave that way for her to live without Eric present. She has to do it and has no choice, so God, give her Your strength to carry out this daunting, Herculean task. Give her Your peace to forge ahead through this storm and time of grief and adjusting to life without Eric's physical presence and learning to carry his spiritual presence and memories in her heart. Give her Your hope that they will be together again one day and one day, she too, will forever bask in Your immanent Glory. And Lord, grant her Your very nearness for these will be tough days for Jill. But You know and You are there. Thank You for bringing Eric into our lives, for all You meant to Him and the witness he was, even in the face of death. He was true to You, true to his mission against melanoma and tanning beds, and true to Jill and his family…true to Jill and she knows and thanks to the videos, we all know. Thank You for their witness of love. They did and do have faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these will always be love and nothing, not even death, can shatter that and we thank You Lord. Amen and Amen!
