          Suggest you go to MDA – the Oncologists there are ALL good – both Dr. Hwus, Dr. Bedikian, Dr. Papadopoulos.  People come from all over the world to get reated there, so driving from San Antonio should be well worth it.  There is no better place to go for melanoma, IMO, although there are a number of very good ones.

              I agree with Jim.  I am in the same trial as Jim at MDA.  It is an amazing center.  My doc is Dr. Patrick Hwu.  Dr. Hwu was on vacation last week so Dr. Pappa was taking care of his patients.  He is a wonderful doc as well.  I vote for MDA.
