Hi, everyone. It has been 11 years since my stage 1 diagnosis. I still check the board occasionally, though, and pray for you. . I found out on August 16th that a biopsy of the conjunctival area of my eye came back as B cell Non Hodgkin's lymphoma. On August 31, I found out that a PET scan done the previous week showed that the lymphoma was disseminated in lymph nodes throughout my body. There were also metastases located in a pelvic bone. This puts me at stage IV, although I understand that this type of lymphoma is not as serious as other stage IV cancers. We meet with our oncologist next week to discuss a treatment plan that will involve at least two different types of chemotherapy. I am just curious to see if any of you have had melanoma, and then lymphoma, or if there is even a connection. I'd love to hear your thoughts/experiences. Thanks.

My dad got melanoma twice then got lymphoma about 5 years after his second occurrence.    I expressed my concern about this to my doctor but she insists there is no connection between melanoma and lymphoma. If you look online there are articles though that reference the two.   I would be curious to hear others' thoughts.

Best wishes and prayers to you

I was stage 4 lymphoma. After treatment melanoma was found on skin and nodes. Stage 3a. Dr said it was not uncommon to go to melanoma from lymphoma
