Did you know that you can update your profile picture?  This is the image that appears next to each topic post.  By default, this will show the MRF logo.

To change your photo, following these steps:

          1. Log-in to melanoma.org.
          2. Go to "Update Info" button at the top of the screen.
          3. In your profile, select the "Profile Information" link.
          4. All of the information within the profile is optional.  If you just want to add in an image, scroll down to the second section and upload a personal profile picture.  The picture needs to be at least 235 pixels high by 235 pixels wide.

Let me know if you have any problems uploading your photos through the contact form.

You almost have to go back to schools somewhere and take another computer course.  Computer experts that make these changes just don’t realize how difficult they make it for us amatuers.  We are not technisions.

              Hi

A while ago, Icreated a PatNet…I had to use "ValleyGirl" because "Val" was already in use….Now I see that my user name will be "ValleyGirl" for this new system.  I would prefer "ValinMtl"…since I usually used "Val" on the old BB.  Can I change my user name..if so how?  I have tried but doesn’t seem to work. Thanks ValinMtl

You can change your username and it does appear that  "ValinMtl" is available.  Follow these steps to change your username:

                  1.  Make sure you are logged in

                  2.  Go to the Update Info button at the top of the screen

                  3.  Change your username and then click save.

The next time you log in, you will need to use your new username.  Let me know if you run into any problems.
