    Hi Nahmi,

I hope that things are still going well for your dad. I just came across a web page called the Australia / New Zealand Melanoma Trials Group and I thought you might find it useful. If you've already seen it, just ignore it.

      Thanks Linny,

I appreciate the link posted but there's not much in it really for my dad.

Things aren't great palliative care are paying a visit today to touch base. Very big and hard step for my parents. Dad's right leg is still numb but he can still walk for now, overall he is having night sweats, no headaches, appetite good with steriods (I think), but he's breathing is heavy and he feels weaker generally.

I have contacted Sydney for gamma knife and they think according to the MRI that he may be a candidate. The problem will be the tumor burden in the body I think. We are so behind in Australia it's a joke. Dad's onc has not told us much other than we need palliative care in.

I just feel the onc is going to prevent dad from the treatment because he doesnt think its worth $25,000 considering dad's condition.

      Feel like crap really.

      Sorry

Nahmi, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all this. Sending you hugs from central PA. I pray your dad will be able to have that gamma knife procedure.
