I finished my fourth round 8 wks ago and had some slight ringing in my ears off and on. This started back up a week ago when my Dr told me to lower my Prednisone. Anyone else have this? How long did it last? Any advice on how to stop it?? It is loud and almost constant. I can’t take supplements or more drugs as my poor liver is processing Zelboraf too. Maybe acupuncture?? I would hang upside in space boots if it would help…
      Thanks y’all!

Same for me but it started when on Zel, several months after I stopped Ipi. Liver also under pressure.

I hear mostly ears ringing in pillow in the morning when waking up.

I consulted ear specialists several times. No one has a clue.

It is still there after 10 months Zel.

Thanks Beatrice. My nurse just said, yes we’ve had other complaints. When I had it during Ipi it would go away but I’m going on well over a week now.

Small price to pay but so annoying when it gets loud – thanks for your reply. How long til your liver sorted out? My Bili is up again, other enzymes closer to normal, my doc has me 2 weeks on Zel/1 week off. Last wk tried to wean off prednisone (for liver) but didn’t go well. Only taking 7.5 mg.

Now that you mention it.  As I read your post, I thought of the ringing in both my ears that I am currently experiencing as I write this.  I'm almost 4 weeks away from my fourth ipi infusion.  Fortunately, I have the ability to pretty much shut off noises.  From what I have observed, I think this can be more of a man thing. And I know there are multiple causes of tinnitus, so the ipi may not be the key to what has been going on.  In fact, I never thought of it as having anything to do with ipi.  But I will bring it up at my appointment tomorrow.  Bad thing about reading your post is that I will be more conscious of it as I go to bed tonight.

I've had ringing in my ears since i had the one month high dose interferon almost 3 years ago. Very annoying.
