       Happy you have a plan!

And we find out tomorrow how ""Four new faint pulmonary nodules. These may represent pulmonary metastases.  Granulomatous/infectious process could be considered but would be less likely" have changed and what they are exactly.  This reading was from the June scan.

Fingers & Eyes Crossed! Theres a name for what could be “ghost nodules”, nodules that arise during therapy, it was mentioned in a past post but cant remember how it was presented..??
Let us know! Praying for Jim!

Scan was good! No new masses. Everything stable.

Nodules appear to be related to infection of some sort–not melanoma related.

        Scan in three months……

Yeeeha! That is awesome! See? Ghost Nodules! Not that i predicted them to be Non Cancerous but, i read it awhile back here on MRF about nodules that arise either during therapy (or just because) and now what your saying, “Infections”! And wow! Such quick results! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Mike! Regarding ghost nodules, is pseudo-progression the term you are thinking of? I experienced pseudo-progression after 6 mos. of Keytruda. All of my lung nodules resolved but there was a new 3.4 cm. nodule. A needle biopsy determined it was benign! What appears as growth sometimes is the immune cells clustered together fighting these mutant cells!

This came to mind as I read your results last week. Some of yours shrunk and some new growth.

I am not trying to create false hope, only sharing what I experienced.

My thoughts and prayers are for all of us to win!!!.
